Bacterial motility, phage dynamics, and science policy of the Arctic

 

I study bacterial and phage (virus) ecology and physiology within Arctic systems, including sea ice and cryopegs (briney lenses of seawater in permafrost). My master's work work examined bacterial motility at subzero temperatures, and my current research project examines phage dynamics within sea ice.
